LeadtoTreat 1st progress meeting

On 4th-6th October 2022, the LeadtoTreat consortium came together for its first progress meeting in Göttingen. The meeting was hosted by the LeadtoTreat partner, NanoTag Biotechnologies.

The two meeting days were dedicated to the work progress achieved during the first 6 months of the project and to planning the next activities. On the first day, all work package leaders presented the ongoing activities and their first scientific and management results since project start. The progress up to date as well as the coming activities were extensively discussed by all consortium members. In the afternoon, NanoTag organized a guided city tour to Göttingen visiting among others the Göttingen University Great Hall.

On the second day, further discussions of the coming tasks were followed by a visit of NanoTag's alpaca farm housing animals used for immunization trials. The alpacas are essential in the project for developing unique nanobodies for targeting MRSA and all consortium members highly appreciated meeting with the curious and friendly animals.
